I am really fighting hooking the ball, this is nothing new because of my TGM lessons lately, been doing it quite a while.
I get below plane during the takeaway, get back on plane at the top, and then on the way down below plane before impact and clearly hitting from the inside.
I know there is a slight outside takeaway before taking it inside on the backstroke. I really dont know how I can correct this, would a steeper shoulder plane help? Should I think more spin out type move down rotating hard left with my hips?
For years I had fought coming from the outside, now its way inside. So weird how this game works.

Boy, I like a LOT of what I see in that motion. After being maybe a little outside in startup, it looks like you do a GREAT job of getting the club back on plane. Beautiful back stroke actually...
I think you are losing the flat left and bent right wrist alignments at impact. Perhaps we could have a better idea from the front (caddie view).

Here is the face on (had to use youtube), wife filmed a little back of perpendicular. Sorry for the crap video but its tough to film in the daylight outside (its hot!!) and this was impromptu. I just got back from a 2 hour session really working on a) impact fix b) cross line thrust c) pp #1........compression was through the roof and no real hooks, some pulls but 8-sw was just superior compression. The ground was blowing up is the best I can describe it. I did try steepening the shoulder turn a little but that led to some blocks and fats so I kind did not feel like screwing around with that.

Sounds like you are on the right track! I see a lot of me in your swing. Yoda has me working on the MacDonald drills, and making sure I get the right hip ot of the way on the backstroke. Are you familiar with the MacDonald drills?

Also, when setting up at impact fix, I like the clubface to "appear" open. Here are a couple of good examples:

Wow, that is quite a bit more open than I am starting at. I though that taking the address with impact fix the idea was slightly right with short irons, square to closed with middle and long irons, and closed with the driver. I assume the drive gets close a bit also from the ball position being moved up.
Thats a great picture.
The whole key last night is I understand a little more of the cross line thrust per 2-J-3-A (i think), golflagtips site really has some cool pictures on that (i see you there as well). I now trust that the thrust and clubface may look like its going to send it right but the physics and geometry do not. Its harder to ingrain that though with a driver swing hitting.

Interesting to see now that Burley Golf (think he is here as well) is throwing up vids along with Jeff Evans, think they have a collaboration coming out this fall/winter.

I hope I'm not steering you wrong. My understanding is the rules change slightly when you move from mid-body hands to impact hands. IMHO, the further forward you start your hands, the more you want the club to appear open. When I set up with impact hands and a dead square clubface, FORE LEFT!

you know, it looks like you get up on your right toe pretty quick though impact/follow through......see if keeping some pressure on the ball of your right foot longer helps slow down that hook.
