HB You wouldn't hit the ball AND maintain alignments. However, what alignments are you worried about and/or referring to? Again theoretically, let's say you wanted the hands and clubshaft to BOTH move on the same downswing plane into impact. That wouldn't happen in my example in my previous post. So that's one "alignment" that wouldn't be maintained - an on plane hand and clubshaft motion.
