I want to be sure all the hitters who are interested see this wonderful article at our Australian Sister site ISG. Really good stuff.

It seems the preference for most is a mid body hands set up using lagging clubhead takeaway. I think that is a wonderful, beautiful way to play the game, for the majority. However, myself and many other hitters prefer impact hands address, as does Mr. Gay at present.

I was lambasted on another site for expressing this personal preference, and really didn't know how to defend myself, other than believing in different options and knowing what works for me. I'm not interested in debating methods anyway... no right, wrong, or best. This wonderful article by Mr. Smith, with help from my friend Loren, explains to me why I prefer it for my own game, if that sentence makes any sense at all.

I don't think there is a good video that shows the complete pre shot routine process that goes through the procedure from start to finish. I have tons of trouble trying to take a grip from impact address, moving it back to adjusted address and then swinging.

I always get the feeling this can't be right because the results have been so poor. Its not a lack of effort or time commitment.
