Good point.........my frustration level is very high

on the way back......my right hand is facing down....the first move is the elbow kicks out to the right..


its a total breakdown.......as soon as i move my hands.....the elbow goes

Don't think elbow, think FOREARM.Sounds like your elbow is leading the backswing.Trying to get the #3pressure point leading the forearm on the way back-(don't worry, your elbow will follow )
Your right hand will be more on the plane angle.
Clap your hands-do you start with the elbow?-No.
