Boring yes, but just think how good impact will be next spring after a winter of 2 ft back and 2 ft through...

I agree. It used to take me at least 100 tries to come with 10 acceptable basic motions. I hope this winter I can accomplish much more productive impact using basic.

Well, you could start with the Backyard Starter Pack

and then by understanding......

and working on.....

will eventually lead to....

IMO, these are better than the almost golf balls. More realistic impact and ball flight, plus they don't go as far.

True concerning impact, ball flight is a close match.

We use them this past winter when we trained indoors. We converted the restaurant, which was naturally closed, to a practice facility with 2 nets and chipping baskets here and there. Due to its characteristics we where not afraid when the windows was hit....

Uhmmmm....what region of INdiana, Ben?

I have some cousins near where Larry Bird grew up and an open invitation to come and visit them....I could warm-up there, so to speak, in prep for Cuscowilla during my Winter break! Oops!

I'm in Fishers on the north side of Indianapolis, pretty close to I-69. Let me know if you're coming through. There's at least one other forum member who I'm sure would love to meet up and hit some balls.

Geez, me too. I have sister in or near Carmel. I'd even visit her and her brood if I could play golf with City again. Man, that is an experience for which a person would purchase a ticket.

We'd be driving in the dead of winter and asking for a blizzard or in the spring and asking for a tornado. But the Indianapolis airport is a sweet little place, hmmmmmm..... a bar and a driving range...Is this a great country or what?????
