Still Fighting Hook on long clubs
Hey guys. I'm still making great progress in my hitting stroke. I haven't taken it to the course yet because I'm battling my driver and 3 wood, low and hooking but very solid feeling. I went from a 10-2-D to a 10-2-B grip thinking that was the problem but it wasn't . Irons are great, very accurate and solid. Any thoughts on my problem? I might be getting a little lazy with the "out" in my stroke. I've been so focused on driving down to China I sometimes forget to drive out. Could that be it?

Make sure you give yourself enough time to transition from Top to Start Down and accomplish the necessary Drive Loading (10-19-A). Especially from the Hitter's shorter Backstroke, the tendency is to rush.

Remember, the Pivot (Right Shoulder) provides the intial acceleration of the Power Package (Shoulders, Arms, Hands and Club). From there, you have only your Bent Right Arm to provide the Thrust. If the Right Arm begins to straighten too soon, you will have Triggered the Release, and you will 'run out of Right Arm' by Impact (an automatic Throwaway).

Drill or swing thought?
Thanks yoda. I purchased the Address Routine premium video yesterday (great as always) and I see you and Ted talking about lowering the right shoulder to the ball as a start down waggle. Is this something I should do in drill or actually think about during startdown? I think once I dial in this slow start down business I will be on my way to being a full time hitter. Thanks for your help master.
