The feel of pressure point #1
I can feel pressure points 2, 3, and 4 quite clearly. However I'm not so sure about #1. Right now it feels only like grip pressure, keeping the cup of my right hand attached to the left thumb. Is there a drill to feel a distinctive pressure on the #1 pressure point?

Another question: With the #3 pp, the pressure is against the shaft, but with #1 is it against the left thumb?

Thanks.

Straighten your right arm thru the ball.

Yes because the thumb is on the side of the shaft. Other than PP#4, the others are all located BEHIND the shaft.
Pressure points are not squeezed activated but rather they are the point the Power accumulator is driven. "You hit the ball with the pressure points of your hands." You drive the power accumulators into the pressure points.

PP1 can also be Extensor Action or ACC1 driving on the thumb. but for me , this PP could be not at the thumb but above the thumb muscle close to the trapezium.. with the heel of the right hand( carpitate) acting on the "thumb"

If the pressure point 1 is that low, both hand may have to be detached. and not working as one unit.

PP3 is more of a sweet spot of the club head, to allow tracing the sweetspot plane..hope i got the right expression here... its location should change depending if using sequential or overlap release...

PP 2 .. is actually a Uncocking pressure.. working with PP 4.. the PP4 will help to allow PP2 to uncock for swinging... so kinda a Passive thing.

Just the way I know it. of course Mike is the expert here .

If swinging, the key is to make sure that pressure is maintained....the old blade of grass between left thumb and right life line/thumbpad....passive for swinging.

Is this because when the left arm blasts off the chest (thrust with pp4), the right arm straightens and therefore the left wrist uncocks (pp2), or are you onto something else? I see no other connection.

Detonum, yes Sir ! More importantly.... though...

For swinging, PP2 is used for passive un-cocking and the accumulator 1 is passive...

IF PP2 and/or AC1 become active.. and/or Independent of PP4 ,for hitting and swinging procedure -----with the aid of a "faulty pivot" the low point will be easily brought back , thus more across the line path...... and promoting right arm swing..Not that we cannot play golf like that..

for tgmers who is taught where is the low points... it become a conflicting issue and some form of snare .. bobbing , changing the flying wedge subconsciously may occur and creeping back...
