Your observation is correct and noted, HB. Just know that the phenomenon is one of season, not apathy.

As for my personal participation, I will be posting this week from the Old Course Hotel and The Open Championship at St. Andrews. Judging from the weather this morning -- cold, wet and windy -- I may be more active than originally planned! Read those posts in The Majors Forum.
