I regularly play with a 78 year old gent who is all about TGM in his game, but would not have a clue what I was talking about if I were to ask him about his hinges or any of the other things we are working on. He was lucky to learn from a heck of a golf pro when he was a kid in the 40's and 50's. Most of the other guys I play golf with give me enough ribbing (as I collect from them this year as opposed to previous years) so I don't offer anything until asked. I haven't been asked. On the range, however, if I see someone struggling and they ask anything at all, I refer them here and lessons with Kev before they do anything else. I was heartened to watch a grizzled pro give a lesson to an elderly gent this spring. The professional reiterated a forward leaning shaft and the right hand be aft of the shaft instead of on top or under. He placed the fellow in an impact fixed position. As I passed by I told the pro I was a friend of Homer's and he just smiled. I am in my 4th summer of retirement from teaching. I am just about out of hall passes. I had been hitting Impact Fix with EA for about an hour at that point from chips to drives. It was hot and I needed a break. Plus, my left tricep and right bicep were sore. I sat next to the gentleman and told him what I had seen on "Alignment I" regarding EA. I told him it gave me power and structure on all my shots from chips to drives. He spent the next 20 minutes hitting chips and drives down the middle. I wrote down our website on a red hall pass. He was smiling when he left and telling his son to use his computer to look up the video. I appreciate the "natural" presentation of TGM and I need it as a teacher and golfer. But, I'm certain that we can as a community help people golf well much more quickly! Patrick JerryG View Public Profile Send a private message to JerryG Find all posts by JerryG
