Hogan did not do it... But then maybe he was not as dynamic or athletic as Trev aims to be.... Cupping of the left wrist (depends on grip I know) tends to allow the clubface to remain turned to the plane and on plane in early start down...IMO. the wrist is subservient to the requirements of the 3 components of the club (sweetspot/face and shaft/sweetspot plane)... may be going off topic...sorry.
