I thought that a hitter uses a straight line thrust action of PP#3 towards the aiming point - as a crossline procedure. During that crossline thrust action, the direction of the straight line thrust is to the right-of-the-target, which means that there is an acute angle between the crossline thrust direction and the plane line (usually ball-target line). I would like to know what's the degree-value of that acute angle and whether it has any necessary causal inter-relationship with the angle of approach angle? Jeff.
