He has two extremes, over-exuberance when he makes a particularly important putt, and just about every time he misses complete audacity the green would misbehave in such a way that his perfect putt would not find the hole. Sergio is much the same way. I think Tiger succeeds in spite of this mindset, not because of it, but I would be willing to defer to someone with a good contrary argument. Perhaps I am wrong, but I have a feeling many of the greats would cringe when they see Tiger's reaction to just about every missed putt. The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far").
