Hoganfan,

Hmmmm.....

Great question - I've been sitting here, for the first time in a while, mimicking a swing to try to figure out what causes the left arm to fold. I suspect it has to do with the natural progression of the joint movements - meaning, left wrist uncocks, left arm straightens to follow through, then left wrist re-cocks, then left arm folds. Not sure though - perhaps someone more knowledgable, or maybe someone into kinesiology can elaborate more.

However, its been my experience that when the left arm folds, its an indication of a full swivel. So maybe the turning of the wrist does have something to do with it, but I am thinking it has the opposite effect that you described.

In the immortal words of one Roger Waters,

Is there anybody out there?

Sorry I could not provide better direction, but loved the question.
