Hands controlling the pivot is something that causes much angst among those new to TGM but there are many other aspects of life where hand sensors detect forces and make the body react accordingly to achieve stability and/or movement. Would you ever teach a waiter to do that through a pivot controlled hands procedure..."move your hips left a bit...no right a bit..." If G.O.L.F. is all about management of forces ( That is what the "F" stands for!) ... surely it is not an unreasonable to extrapolate the technical procedure of HCP from the silly waiter with "educated hands" to the G.O.L.F.er?? The forces and intended direction of the forces may vary but the principle does not... just need to eductate the hands slightly differently...
