Thanks, Maureen Practice the MacDonald Exercises, especially the 'free Arm Swing.' http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/s...ead.php?t=4435 Click on the photos for a larger version, and follow the instructions exactly. Practice first without a Club (#5 and #6); then, with a Club (#5-#7). Make the Swing Motion continuously, i.e., back and through and back and through and back and through. As instructed, limit the motion to a half-swing, keeping your heels together as your Feet execute their 'mark time' action in perfect timing with the Arm Swing. Swing your Arms freely from your Shoulders as you keep your torso facing the Line. Also, stick a tee in the butt end of your Club, and make sure it points at the Line on both ends of the Stroke. As you swing the Club continuously back and through and back and through and back and through, feel the Hands leading and the Club lagging, especially as you 'reverse the motion' (backwards from Finish to Top) and swing through the Start Up and into the Backstroke and to the Top. Soon, you'll be able to retain that Feel as you start the Swing from your selected Address Position. This is the Feel of Lag and Drag, and it is no less than The Secret of the Game. Do these simple drills for just a few minutes a day, and soon any worry about 'Start Up Swivel' will be a thing of the past. __________________ Yoda Yoda View Public Profile Send a private message to Yoda Visit Yoda's homepage!
