Interestingly it has made me realize that my current - sorry PREVIOUS - hip action has neither been well synchronized nor well sequenced with the rest of me. Guess I've been speeding my hips far too much and "fixed it" by bending the plane line & playing a pull, although I do not really care about what I used to do at this point. Moving on.

As everyone making changes I am struggling a bit with letting a new feel (based on new mechanics) replacing my old feel. (New mechanics. New feel). I am doing what I feel is sensible. Hitting lots of pitches on the range in order to get used to a new feel. I am doing ok, but the big thing is to upgrade to full swing while avoiding those hips to fire early.

Any comment on how to practice efficeinetly in order to rid fast hips (or sequence them better) are VERY welcome.

I struggle at times with fast, overly active hips, causes an over the top move. What works best for me is alot of start down waggles. I hit my best shots when I feel as though my right hip stays cleared (back) until after my right elbow has passed. I play better when my body is chasing my arms. I think the correct hip slide, or bump will happen automatically when the right elbow is allowed an unobstructed pass by the right hip.
