Here's to hoping no one on this forum hits a putt out of bounds. My personal guess is you are bending the plane line a bit on some shots (maybe even consistently.) On the great shots you may either be compensating properly or just swinging better. My feeling is that nothing helps the hinge action like drawing a straight plane line. My recommendation with never seeing your swing is a bunch of downswing waggles. Also, moving toward acquired motion length backswings might be a good idea. When the timing of the swing is not happening better to make the swing simpler (less motion). I'd wish you luck, but I know you'll pull through. Thanks mate. Some good stuff there which may not be far from the truth. I practise in front of my patio windows in order to get a look at plane lines and such but nothing beats the reality of a proper swing for revealing the truth. I DO hit the ball better from an acquired motion position which, as is the case with most of us, gets to be the top of my swing anyway. The mental side of things really needs work as I can, as my tag line suggests, be my own worst enemy. I am often heard to be referring to the curse that has been visited upon me by a person or persons unknown. Sad really for a grown man to get into this state over a game BUT golf is much more important than that. __________________ IB "My only handicap is me!!!"
