In the golfing machine there are three basic ways to start the backswing....

Standard Hip Action.......Pivot Controlled Hand.....it will give you a natural angled Delivery path

Delayed Hip Action with Right Forearm Takeaway (Hand Controlled Pivot) and your shoulders powering your hips in the backswing by way of the right forearm takeaway.....the players skill level will dictate which delivery path he or she will use....study 2-H to make the connection. No free lunch today....

or the derivative of delayed .....Right Forearm and Hips.....refer to 10-15-B where it says in the first sentence....."or at least lead"; ie; the shoulders......this is a special case backstroke (call it a combination of standard and delayed)...a la Tom Tomasello. Hips Power (or active) but with Leading Shoulders through the Right Forearm Takeaway keeping the hands on the straight line delivery path.

What I just described to you took about 12 years to fully understand and appreicate...

The big hurdle will be the integration with component 23 "Delivery Paths".

For my money and experience with the machine......how you start the backswing...should be the way you start the downswing.....standard hip action....should be follow by a lower body downswing....the right forearm take away should be followed by a right forearm start down for both hitters and swingers.....I'm sure that will ring a few bells.......
