Homer and Jorgensen
Questions to those who have studied both.

a. What would they have agreed upon? or

b. What would they have disagreed upon?

Strav,

Please point me toward a Jorgensen primer. Thanks!

"The Physics of Golf" AIP Press. American Institute of Physics New York.
Not sure if that's what you are after but it is all I have and it is fairly easy reading so far. Incidentally chapter 6 is titled 'Producing Power with Precision', something close to all our hearts.

Jorgensen has definitely moved up on my reading list. Now all I need is a beach!

Hmmm . . . Maui and The Mercedes may be in my future!

I've read both and it is obvious that they both view the swing as a circular motion on an inclined plane. Their views on geometrics and physics (power) are very similar, but Jorgensen is easier to understand for a layperson like myself.
