Enjoying the thread, don't mean to bring it back somewhat on topic, but I really LOVE the Indian Wells courses.

I played both Celebrity and Players last summer for like under 30 bucks in scorching heat. Amazing golf courses IMO -- great service, lots of beautiful trees for shade, and ice machines every four holes. I haven't seen the first episode yet, but I'm excited to tune in when I get a break. (Graduated law school yesterday, already studying for CA Bar). I'm going back out there in a couple of weeks and hopefully I can play them again this time. Anyone else out there played IW?

Oh geez, I cannot help myself. As long as we are threadjacking, I'm going along with it.
In March we played The Golf Club of Kansas near KC, KA. It is an extraordinary experience to play golf there. If you are anywhere in the area, make sure to get a tee time in advance. It is an absolutely remarkable venue.
I hope to go back in the fall or next spring.

After Raymond Floyd's son made his dad fidget, no doubt, buy mucking around in the sand traps, I ummm, fell asleep! LOL!

Dear Little Floyd, I had a lesson with Yoda on sand traps and I bet I can get out of the pits more often than you!

May I recommend a great teacher? Y O D A

He is the best!

I felt bad for the guy. What a way to go out It was tough to watch, I've been there. Not on that kind of stage, but to have your game suddenly leave you like that...definitely no bueno.

Is it me or does Shank sound like a character from "Waterboy?" He mumbles when he talks and I think "Down Sheba" is slightly racist! But he does seem like a genuinely nice though strange guy!

Kent is a moron!

That guy is hilarious!

That was a clutch up&down Shank made from the second location to pretty much seal the deal. I loved that bit where they were talking about how he bought that putter in the pro shop right before the show It'll be interesting to see how buying that half point will affect him in later shows since he's at the bottom of the money list now. I wouldn't mind watching Kent leave next
