Given all the knowledge that you currently possess....
Consider this hypothetical situation:
Let's say you had limited access to a time machine with only 1 use before it does not work anymore. You only have 1 moment in time to go back to. This 1 moment in time is limited to a specific instant: this one instant in time is the very first time you ever pick up a golf club and you are in the physical and mental prime of your life (remember, this is hypothetical).
Assume that you have a clean (golfing) slate to work with, an attentive student and unlimited time to get your point accross.
With all the information/knowledge that you currently possess about the golf swing:
1) What would you want your student to have complete understanding of before the end of the lesson ?
2) How would you help your brand new student achieve this understanding ?
3) How would this new student do with the game of golf if they applied the information that you gave them every day for the rest of their lives ?

1) What would you want your student to have complete understanding of before the end of the lesson?
The Body, Arms and Hands have specific assignments during the Golf Stroke, and they must be coordinated into one efficient motion.
2) How would you help your brand new student achieve this understanding?
Train first without a club; then with a club but with no ball; finally, with a club and ball. Begin with Short Shots; proceed to Half Shots; and only then to Full Shots.
3) How would this new student do with the game of golf if they applied the information that you gave them every day for the rest of their lives?
They would enjoy great satisfaction without physical pain or personal recrimination.

There you have it. And, quite concise I might add.

If I had access to a time machine I would of gone and seen Yoda a lot sooner than I did, I suppose the day that I first picked up the game would of been a good starting point

With all the information/knowledge that you currently possess about the golf swing:
1) What would you want your student to have complete understanding of before the end of the lesson ?
Nothing, except doing the following:
Reverse in the middle of rotating the shoulders to drag the club backward with both arms straight to the top.
Quote:
2) How would you help your brand new student achieve this understanding ?
1. Shoulder rotation only in both directions with standing upright and slightly knee flex.
2. Do 1., except reversing in the middle of going toward one direction.
3. Do 2., except both arms actively straight and parallel to each other and the ground in front of the body.
4. Do 3., except holding two hands together like griping a club.
5. Do 4., except allowing one arm to fold naturally.
6. Do 5., except holding the hosel of the club.
7. Do 6., except holding the middle of the club with the grip toward the body.
8. Do 7., except holding the grip.
9. Do 8., except bending over from the waist a bit.
10. Do 9., except bending over further.
11. Do 10., except bending over till the club touching the ground.
12. Do 11., except pulling the club closer to the body to allow both arms hanging vertically at set up.
13. Do 12., except allowing the ball to be placed through which the sweetspot of the club passes.

Get bored shortly after.
