Daryl, I enjoyed your explanation again! You and Jerry must be very outgoing, friendly types, eager to see people advance in becoming better golfers, like so many on this site.
This is based on my data gathered in personal observation.
Also, I have been staring at this smiley face for months now, and it's head is stationary!!!!!

When people hit into my group it hurts my feelings and gets me alarmed. On the second incident I yell "Please don't do that! It hurts my feelings." ( I wait so that I do not disturb shot makers in motion, though, and sometimes I walk back to the group and smile when I tell them they are hurting my feelings.) People laugh and usually stop, then.
Sometimes, though, they don't. That's why it's nice to know the rangers at my home course and with a cell phone, I can call the club house and they give people the bad news-the hurt my feelings!
