Henrik Bjornstad
Norway has only one player on the PGA tour. His name is Henrik Bjornstad. I don't think he knows much (or anything) about TGM. Today he had the same score - par - as Brian Gay. I don't think any of them were satisfied with today's round(?) T 66. Very similar rounds. 1 double bogey, 2(1) bogeys, 4 (3) birdies and the rest was par.
"My man" is really struggeling to keep his card - and he will probably have to go back to Q-school. That's a problem Brian doesn't have to deal with. But today they were equally good/(bad), for what it's worth...

They played equally great today. Some players posted lower scores.

I don't think HB is satisfied. He needs to win or at least be top 5 and not be struggeling to make the cut. Now he needs 3 rounds at 66 or better to get up there. We have been wishing for this all season, but it hasn't happened yet and time is running out, so par isn't good enough at all.

Both made the cut.
Brian 71
Henrik 69
By the way Bjornstad (or Bjørnstad as it is spelled with ø not o) means Beartown in English.

Brian 72 (with 2 doubles and 4 birdies)
Henrik 73 (with 5 over par on the 2 first and the 2 last holes)+ (6 birdies).

I wish young Henrik all the best. But, you're right, with only $207,000 in Official Money and at #182 on the Money List, he has little chance of retaining his TOUR card. http://www.pgatour.com/players/02/29/46/
You are also right that BG does not have to "deal with" that problem. He has done that . . . twice. But $1.4 million this year and three wins in the prior two years take care of that situation nicely. At least for the time being.
Nevertheless, both Henrik and Brian know the truth:
The PGA TOUR is the Land of the Meat-Eaters.
It is a dog-eat-dog world, and . . .
You'd better have 'dog' on your breath.

He has a lot of talent I believe - he makes a lot of birdies (6 today). But almost every round is spoiled by bogeys and double bogeys - so there is no consistency in his game.
He has been on the PGA tour once before in 2006. And in his first competition he was leading the tournament on sunday with 9 holes to go - one shot ahead of Tiger Woods (who wun), but then 3 bogeys followed and he ended as nr 10. Then things started to go the wrong way and he lost his card and he has been on the Nationwide Tour until he got his card back for this season.
It's a hard life on tour, when you struggel to make cuts and only finishes around 30-60 when he makes the cut (like this time?)
Now you all know all you "need" to know about him (besides that he is VERY interested in cycling, both as a sport to watch and that he does a lot of cycling himself. We wonder here in Norway how valuable that is for his golf, but he likes doing it anyway ..)

Brian 69 -4 T 29
Henrik 74 E T 52
Brian had his best round, Henrik his worst.
Rumors have it that H. stayed up late in the night to watch the World Championship in cycling in Australia (where a Norwegian wun) and that he therefore was a bit tired today. That really annoy some of his fans back here at home - they feel that why should we show interest in his golf when he doesn't prepare himself in the best way? I'm not sure what to think, but his game isn't good enough for the PGA tour like he is playing now and today it went from not so good to worse.
And golf certainly has a mental side as well.
Maybe he doesn't control his left wrist well enough (and the club face, since he doesn't control the ball and the game better?) (Do you have to be awake to control the FLW?)

Typical HB: 5 birdies, but nevertheless 2 over par. This goes the way the hen kicks (Norwegian saying)

Here we go again
5 birdies - but only par on the round. A "nice" trippel on the par 3 - 12th hole.
Only 62,62,62 (or better) can save him from going to Q-school. He has to win. Wishful thinking I'm afraid.
