Phil Mickelson's short game DVD
Anyone else watched this? What do you think of it?
He talks about 'hinge and hold' which is basically all about maintaining a FLW.
He does have some good ideas though.

Tempted but will wait
I love Mickelson and have been tempted to pick up the DVDs. That said, I have enough on my plate with TGM/LBG. I am curious though. Maybe later.

I haven't seen the DVD myself, but on another forum that I'm a member of most of those that have it are raving about it.

There is more, much more, Im sure if someone wishes to inform us.
Did you ever see the TGM break down Yoda did of Steve Elkingtons pitching method?

I saw about 10 minutes of it the other day at a friends house and then we left to go play a round. Very well done, lots of vertical hinging stuff though. I think it would be great for the mid handicapper looking to improve his short game. For the more advanced player it probably would be very helpful. For the knowledgeable TGM'er I think it gives some different insights, but probably not groundbreaking stuff by any stretch. Then again I haven't seen the entire DVD. He does teach FLW at impact with flops.

Hey Kevin,
Do not worry about the corruptive forces of seems as if gossimer mechanics! I have found this type of exposure in the light of TGM quite interesting. Phil knows what he is doing, he is complying with the laws etc. So the key now is to use the terminology Homer provided us to describe what is really happening. Maybe not to the enth degree as Yoda did with Elkington's pitch shot, but to the extent that there is a benefit to you.

Thanks OKIE, your help is always appreciated!
We watched Phil at the short game area up close and personal Wednesday. I thought his action was unbelievably beautiful to watch, and the results were FANTASTIC. Then I watch the golf news last night and Mr. Pelz says that Phil's rusty short game is why he shot +2. Just shows what a bonehead I am!
