Before I met Yoda, I had a few lessons with Sean Folley in Toronto (he now works with Steven Aimes, Sean O'Hare etc). He is TGM ish, not an A.I. I dont think. My apologies if he is. In any event he maintained that left hand wrist cock beyond 90 degrees was detrimental as I recall. He had taken the matter up with some mechanical engineers from the University of Toronto. He is an interesting guy who at the time was exchanging golf lessons for mechanical insight from Medical Doctors, Engineering profs etc etc.
I wouldnt be surprised if he is member of this forum. Yoda has said that they hang out occasionally on tour.
Sean please reveal yourself if you are here and welcome!
That's the First Golfer I've ever seen that presets his Hips for the Downswing.
What exactly do you mean - the big slide towards target during the backswing with a little turn and then just holds them still for release and impact?...hardly any hip motion through downswing until "follow through"?
I agree with mb about Sadlowski...very similar but does not get the hips open enough IMO...
here are a few more views of Ellebye:
Salowski really gets his hips more open and moving at/through impact it seems...:
