Where words fail, music speaks
Check out our homepage and let us know what you think about the music. We wanted to add something that captured the entreprenureal, dig it out of the dirt spirit that is Lynn Blake Golf. We welcome your feedback and suggestions!

Have you considered simple sound effects? What about the sound of a golf ball dropping into the bottom of the cup? A golf Ball Strike; but a good one?

What about using a "Flash" entrance. Just a few seconds?

Thanks, Daryl, for your answers. We also are far from satisfied. Hence, our Poll and Thread.
Actually, we favored a streaming photographic succession from wee tots and first strokes; to the PGA TOUR; accompanied by a few choice historical "moments" and "gallery roars". It's just been tougher to find the clips and time to make it happen. Not to mention that, upon reflection and review of our own scrapbook, the LBG history has been every bit as embryonic, exciting and fulfilling.
Hence the stereotypical music offered to bridge the gap.
However, with due respect to your own "volume knob", I intensely disliked the silence accompanying the Home Page intro. Trust me, I've lived the "intro", and there was nothing "silent" about it! The "Rocky" theme was a convenient alternative. One that no doubt will accelerate a more desired presentation.
Meanwhile, it's "Just do it".
And, "Hasta la vista, baby!" to . . .
The Sounds of Silence.

With our LBG regulars, this whole discussion is somewhat academic. Our browser log-ins take us directly to the Forum's pages straightaway, bypassing the Home Page, et. al. http://www.lynnblakegolf.com/forum/s...earchid=356746
Hey, a new Home Page!

Yo Adrian !
I personally love the Rocky Music (seems I am the only one so far), but an alternative could be to have Lynn play a guitar solo, demonstrating Educated Hands.

Not to be a party pooper, but I don't think I would use a copyrighted piece of music. I know it's a wholly innocent thing, and people do it all the time, but if the site does any commerce, it's not worth taking the chance.
I work in the music biz and deal with copyright issues all the time, so I'm just looking out for you guys, trying to protect ya, thats all.
