What are "hits" exactly?

"Hits" is a popular stat that's captured by most webservers. It represents the number of http requests sent to the server - this includes requests for images, scripts, posts, etc.. basically all the activity on the site.

This site has been intentionally slowed to give people who can't type as fast a chance to get caught up. Also for those who don't think as fast.

With cable service...its S L O W in CA...(actually much better now at 10 PM in the evening).
