When Homer Kelley left Seattle for Macon, Georgia, to speak to the Georgia Section of the PGA some 23 years ago, the revisions for the 7th edition were on his desk. Some of the more important additions were incomplete, mere placeholders for what he planned on later adding. He expected, I am sure, to write that text and to clean up around certain other revisions when he returned.
But he did not return.
And that places a heavy burden on those who would publish the final edition of his work.

Ben Doyle Web Site Too
I got my last two copies of the yellow book from Ben Doyle web site. Great price and really fast too. Stay away from Amazon, I ordered my first copy from there a few years back and got the 4th edition which was not what I wanted.
Great news about the 7th but I will believe it when it happens. I like the forum for the interaction, video, etc. I really hope that they get the Golfing Machine site up and running but it has essentially been dead for quite a while.....unfortunately.

Some people just can't see the gold even if it's staring right in front of them!

Don't get too excited guys -- I can just feel there's going to be a 'slight' delay! Mark my words. I sincerely hope Joe can prove me wrong.

I promise there are errors in the 7th Edition revisions that he alone will not catch. There is at least one major change that demands changes in several areas for consistency of presentation. And there is text that unless rewritten does not say what Homer meant to say. Not to mention the errors in the 6th that the 7th revisions don't catch.
I applaud the promise of publication.
And will give the actual event a standing ovation.
But the job is bigger than one man.
Here's hoping he gets it right.

You need to publish an unofficial complement to the 7th Edition!
If you were to set up a "Review Board", who are some of the people you think should be in it?

A few of the people who are in attendance at the TGM Summit today.
And more who are not.
Joe has stated that the book's publication is imminent. Assuming that is indeed the case, then an initial draft of this most important publication was not put out for comment by senior TGM Authorized Instructors. This failure to tap his most precious resource -- his own AI network -- is indicative of the isolation that continues to encumber The Golfing Machine®.

Is management vision an oxymoron? Hmm...

Aahh, yes, the typical management credo of never soliciting opinions they cannot control. That could lead to messy things like enlightenment and truth

Yoda,
I've always wondered why you make the extra effort of putting the Registered Trademark ® sign after The Golfing Machine.
Is it just for the sake of completeness, or is there more to it?

Bottom line the The Golfing Machine is HERE at LBG. The REVOLUTION is on the internet and will be televised.

The book's 7th edition IS coming out very soon.
It is completed in electronic form and is at the printers.
The revisions were made from notes that were from Homer, but somewhat different from the revisions that I have seen in the past.
Maybe this is the correct set, and some of the things that some wanted from reading the 'bootleg' set of revisions, are more accurate.
I am trying to convice the "house" to release it in pdf for as well and include ALL THE other editions as well.
I'll see how it goes with that.
