The megsa equipment is based on negative feedback and was created by Mike Bender one of the Top 50 teachers in the US. Negative feedback limits the space in which a student can swing the golf club. Mike played on the PGA tour and has worked with some of the top players in the world. He also worked with Ben Doyle and Mac O'Grady. I would strongly advise everyone to check out the equipment for it truly is worth your time.
On the web-site you will see the demo icon in the top right, there you will find a brief demonstration on the equipment. I have some vidoe footage of the equipment with some of my favorite features I will try to post on this site.

I used this device and it is so flexible and produces almost immediate results. I could not believe how different (and good) my swing looked on video after just 30 min on this equipment. It's pricy, but I'm saving up!!

I agree, the most important thing about the equipment is the ability to show the student the video. The video is a visual refrence for you to see what you felt. I wish I could hit on the equipment everyday as well...

The immediate results are not permanent though, they are merely in short term memory. Consistent use of the equipment is still very necessary. I'm not knocking the device, just trying to clarify.

The reason you can't sustain the lag is because you are so eager to make the club move fast (a reaction to the intent of "hitting it far"). So on a full shot you throw it away too early, which doesn't happen for your short chip. (bts)

Mrodock, You are correct. As with any type of drill or training device, it takes a certain amount of repetitions to ingrain the motion into the nervous system and create long-term changes. For those lucky enough to work with one of these (or soon the home edition) on a regular basis, this is a very powerful training device.

Truth is though, if you are getting great results in 30 minutes, that would seem to suggest it would not take a great deal of time to train it into your motor program.
