Must be Eastern Snow you are using?!
So I've gone thru a couple of steel shafts and a couple of graphites - it would seem that the shafts get pretty fragile at minus 20 or worse. Even the shovel handles snap!!!
I'm going to use the impact bag for a few more months and try the impact bank again in May.
