Hi Yoda,

I really enjoyed Tomasello simple swing
mechanics in his free videos section here...

But I read in another post where you advocated
that the pivot starts the start down motion not
the arms down as Tom suggests......


Which is correct???

I thought you might be interested in what Tomasello said in his Chapter 9 video Hitting_Swinging.wmv:

One of the single most important things I'd like to impress upon you here, is that if your hands are below shoulder level, the left hip starts to pull instantly as you uncock the golfclub - INSTANTLY - you must learn to do this together.

However if your hands are above shoulder level, you must connect the upper (right) arm (to the chest) first, before you start to activate the hip.
