You have a great sense of Humor. :laughing9

The "Cliff Notes" are "The Archives" in the LBG.com Forums.

Yoda has a sense of Humor, but not mine ("my way") , so he named all of his examples and explanations and demonstrations of TGM Theory "The Archives" (because they were written before and during the early days of this Websites Forum development). Go figure. So, when I first joined the site I would Print them out and put them in a Binder. :)

Look at some of his Thread Titles:
  • To Roll Or Not To Roll That Is The Question
  • To Look Or Not To Look
  • What's My Line
  • The Right Triceps Thrust And Messenger From Heaven
  • Would The Real Clubhead Lag Please Stand Up
  • Virtue and Balance
  • The Ball Will Do As It Is Told
  • Where's The Beef
  • Hammering Down Concepts
They are Priceless. Yoda has a Poetic sense of humor.

If we could get Yoda to change the name from "Archives", which sounds like "old stuff written a long time ago" to "Cliff Notes" which sounds like "if I'm confused, this is the place to visit and read everything", things may be easier for new members.

Cliff's NOT Cliff

Has to be the LBG archives I couldn't agree more but get it right: it's CliffsNotes (that's the brand name) not Cliff Notes, which was started by Cliff Hillegass in 1958, the Homer Kelley of student study guides.

Birdie Chance
Bronx, NY

Thanks, Daryl. I never title a post (such as this one) until I'm done. I begin with an idea -- a responsive comment or an answer to a question -- and things flow from there. Always, I have to re-jigger and edit a bit, but soon another post is born and ready for its name.

Somewhere along the way, the title may have "popped out" (but usually not, as is the case with this one). In a handful of words, it must express the post as a whole. So, I'll think a bit (usually only a few seconds) about what I've written, and then -- presto! -- another post is "in the books".

Okay, I'm done here (#7,719). Now, how shall I christen it?

Let me see ...

Ahhh, yes. I've got it!

True. I've purchased so many of them in the past. It's embarrassing.

Great Titles, Rich content. I read them over and over, each time discovering more. It's an invaluable volume of work.
