Right elbow pain question
Hello all,
I continually get right elbow pain whenever I hit and I'm wondering why? I know as per 7-19 if you right arm swing you will have elbow pain but I do not think thats the procedure that I am using. I have an anchored left leg, no weight shift, and I'm trying to eliminate as much body movement as possible but I continually have the same nagging soreness and pain in my right elbow. Could the hitting stroke be causing this or am I right arm swinging and not realizing it? |

return to hitting
I also notice the same pain in my right elbow when hitting. I may not be the most qualified respnder on this however I think that the reason behind this is an off plane righ forarm, which means you must throw the club to get it to the ball.
If the club is thrown, and you are trying to employ a right arm trigger, then you would end up right arm swinging. Since the club is no longer being activly driven by the right arm in a piston like fashion you are no longer actvily hitting? |
are you sure you are not right arm swinging? There is potential there for elbow pain w/ rt arm swinging

Truth be told I really don't know. All I know is I get a lot of right elbow pain after a range session if I'm "trying" to hit. I have an anchored left side. Virtually no hip movement and all the trademark hitting techniques. That said, I don't feel huge pressure on #1. Its there, but it doesn't seem like the power comes from there if you feel me. |
