Thanks for your concerns

I appreciate all the phone calls. I did make it through the hernia surgery today. I'm a little sore and feeling some effects from the anesthesia. But, hopefully, I'll be back to work (light duty) in a couple of days.

No golf for 6 weeks. :crybaby: :crybaby: :crybaby:

Hmm? I didn't know. I've been off-line too long. I hope you get better soon. Take the Doctors advice: no Golf.

Hitting is too strenuous anyway. Swinging is easier at your age. :golf:

WHAT!!!

If you can't work on basic motion; putting and chipping then find another surgeon! Well, a little late for that but hey...

As your new Doctor I would advise you to practice 500 short shots per day and only call me between 3:00 - 4:00PM Tuesday through Friday. I'm golfing with my chums on those mornings and the rest of the week I'm off.

I also know that hitters heal faster, so get back to it soon!

Heal up quick paawdner

I'll be 39 on Saturday. Increasing salt and less pepper in the -do might have made you think I was 50. ;)

As far as Swinging goes, I had hernia surgery, not castration! :naughty:

LOL:) Didn't the Doctor tell you? Hernias are from Lifting and Pushing, not pulling.:)

By the way: 50 is the new 40.

Hernia

Well Ted, I had both sides done at the same time. Usually when one side goes, the other one goes as well. I am glad mine went at the same time......

So you walk around like an 90 year old for a few days....:laughing9

YodasLuke 01-22-2008 09:01 AM

the cause?

I don't know if it was using the speed chain that I had tied to the two anvils, five bowling balls, and 1978 Lincoln Continental OR the two pushups I did last month.
