teaching in the arctic tundra

I'm setting a new lesson to windchill ratio today. But, it's certainly not worthy of Holies and Polies.

It's presently 24 degrees, but the windchill factor is 10 degrees. I'm giving 4 lessons today, so 4 divided by 10 is .4. Anyone that can beat this number wins a pair of Hot Hands. :)

Stop trying to make everybody believe you're in Sweden . . . you freakin' mental patient.

heat wave

One down, three to go. It's steamin' out here, now. It's 27 degrees, with a windchill of 15. Time to come out some clothes!
:happy3:

A couple friends of mine played in their annual Jan. 1st tourney yesterday. Each team was issued a broom so they could sweep away the snow to find their golf balls!

global warming

Two down, two to go.

Thank goodness for global warming. Without that, it would really be cold.

I guess it depends on what you are used to. Was pretty cold here in Pittsburgh this morning but when I went out to get in my car at lunch it felt a lot warmer---didn't even zip up my coat. Turned on the car radio and the weather was 24 degrees and wind chill of 13. Must have been REALLY cold this am for 24 to feel warm. Most times I envy you, Ted----but not on days like this. That's pretty cold to be giving lessons. Hope the global warming kicks in pretty soon. We were just happy we saw the sun for the first time in 6 days. Excuse me while I find my Prozac. Just waitin' for April!

4 lessons in the teens or 13 lessons in the 100's, it's all tough. If I didn't love it, I'd find an office job. :hang: :hang: :hang: I have no desire to be stuck inside all day long, wearing a tie. That would be my destiny, according to my formal education. But, they don't make enough Prozac for that.

Hey! I resemble(d) that!

Some say the glass is half full, some say it's half empty.
I say it's impossible to tell without knowing intent.

Not enough information.
