Terra Firma Phobia?

I have the hardest time achieving the correct follow through i.e. both arms straight using CF. The only way I seem to be able to achieve this is by consciously activating the right tricep to get to low point. I suppose there is always going to be tricep participation, but I am struggling to utilize CF for that purpose. Of course the result is shots off to the right. Is it possible that my right shoulder is above the correct plane, or am I simply unwilling to allow a mythical force to do its thang? Any ideas?

You could be having some of the same issues I had. Maybe this thread will help you:

Are you in Oklahoma? Where?

Sprawling metropolis of Broken Arrow!

My difficulty is that attempting to swing and thus employ CF I feel like a t-rex through impact (think Byron Nelson) except my right arm does seem to be in the gradual process of being straightened. Now when I straighten from the right tricep I achieve that structured post impact follow through feel/look. Maybe I am destined to be a "hitta."

Then you should Hit!

I'm in OKC.

You are right! Still, it bugs me that I cannot swing effectively, making it difficult to demonstate the difference between hitting and swinging. I have always struggled to "allow" things to happen and prefer to "make" it happen.

Happy Centennial to you in the state capital!
