Neutral grip
If one is using a truly neutral grip, where should the line between the thumbs and the forefingers point? To the right shoulder? To the sternum? or somewhere else?
I played yesterday with the lines pointing to my sternum, almost in the center of my body, and hit the ball consistently straight. Am I losing power not using a stronger grip? |

Shaft lies under the heel across the palm for the left hand and in the cup of the right hand. This allows each hand to move in its plane of influence. There are strong and weak versions of each grip type. 10-2 goes from A-G. It is all about Hands to Plane. Power is built in each type. Sorry for the non-answer but once you learn what you need you are that much better. |
Right Palm?

I have never heard that the right hand grip is in the palm? Your not talking about a Moe Norman like grip are you? Please explain some more. |

Although my index, middle and ring finger are place under the shaft, my hand 'Levels' as it folds the lifeline over the left thumb. A Level Right Hand. |

I don't think LEVEL is emphasized enough. Yes, it is Bent, but without Level- you are off Plane- Period. |
Switch Hands
How about the Left Thumb? Is it placed in a different locatoin for swinging than for hitting.
I read where yoda said that there should be space between the index finger and the thumb, but he was talking about hitting. Does the swinger want that space? I would think they would. Talk to Me |
