Golf shoes
Hi O.B.
I'll be playing Golf in Naples for a few weeks this winter. I'm thinking about trying these golf shoes. ![]() I also found some for you and Mike O for this winter. Would you like me to check for sizes and colors? |
Cruel
That is too cold!
Be careful, there isn’t any arch support in those sandals. |

Dude, Chicago is not exactly the capital of winter golf. We're all in for a long winter.

Nice Try!
Nice Try - But I'll be playing this winter and getting better in the Golf Studio!

Daryl,
Wait til you see City's golf shoes. I'll just say you won't need to lend him any laces. |
Here in Houston we're having a perfect climate for golf now. The temperatures are now around low 80's and I can even walk the course without breaking too much sweat.
Back in Norway they have had the first snow drop traffic chaos already and it's basically dark, wet and cold. I can't say I'm in a rush to cross the Atlantic :-) |

Hey Mike
That a good deal, up here its by the hour and not cheap. So thats where you boned up on impact data maybe? Did it change your thinking on the course much? Just the conversations the past few weeks have me thinking 'bout things differently. Even though I knew the correct ball flight laws I was manipulating the face for all but big curve balls, now Im trying to do it with path......still a work in progress. I dunno. |

O.B. II'm reading a really good book, the Negotiable Golf Swing by Joe Laurentino. This gentleman must have some background as a Machiner. He did a chapter on D-Plane and Ball Flight Laws while using Homer Kelley's Chapter 2 concepts in tandem with Jorgenson's work. Doesn't throw out the concepts we are learning here. I think he explains it in enough detail for teachers and players not lucky enough to own a track man. Very easy to understand and visualize. I would be interested to hear how close he is from guys with more scientific minds like Daryl, BerntR, and John Graham... Have you guys seen this book? I think you would enjoy it as I do... Kevin |
I have the book as well. It is a good read. Kevin, you and I should just start a book club and exchange them, it would save us money.
