Video: Hosel rotating around Sweet Spot

We're resurrecting the dead horse. If we can't agree that the hosel leaves the Plane and returns to it, then we are seeing different things.

Nope, Ben Hogan had more forward bend in the ankles at P4.
:laughing9 :laughing9 :laughing9

Seriously, I don't know how we can argue with that. Very nice demo pro!

Nice demonstration Luke. That should be in the Gallery I think.

Would I be right in thinking that you chose swinging just because it demonstrates this point to a more visible extreme? Hitting or swinging we swing the sweetspot but hitting having less swivel makes it harder to visually see the shaft rotate to or off the plane?

Nice view of the Swamp there too. I love that little green. Doesnt look too cold down there. Makes me wonder how much the airfare would be next week.......

Great demo, Ted. If it . . .

Looks like a duck;

Walks like a duck; and

Quacks like a duck . . .

Then maybe, just maybe . . .

It's a duck!

when Swinging, do as the Swingers do

When I'm Swinging, I need the biggest Sweet Spot I can find. But, the tip that you gave me at Cuscowilla about putting on my big girl panties when Swinging was really helpful. It puts me in the proper mood. It's like wearing cowboy boots when riding a horse. It makes you feel like a cowboy. :angel1:

If- and it's a BIG "if",you were swinging, then you need some more pivot and horizontal hinging -and you were way off plane in the followthrough .
I seem to remember at Cuscowilla that I said big girl swinger panties were better than the young Girl's hitters panties. You can still wear the cowboy boots -I know you like them:eyes:

We'd be glad to have you. I'll pick you up at the airport. :) Don't come on Monday or Tuesday. It might snow. Then, Thursday through Saturday we have a shot at the 60's.

I'd say yes to both of your questions. And, using the big club helps to show it.

Ill check with the wife and the airlines. The first one is the hardest to arrange, aint no travelocity to handle those arrangements, if you know what I mean. it just might work, I did the dishes tonight.

You know, Im wondering where the heck the sweetspot is on that club? Did you check it out? You might be even more on plane than you illustrated.

Great stuff, thanks

I've been talking to a patent attorney, and I've checked on a trademark name. I've met with a mechanical engineer to talk about the drawings. So, we're working on it. It's a very tedious process.

I have a device that I'm in the process of getting patented. It's a unique Plane device.

They would serve no other purpose than alignment for the device. But, other cheaper methods of alignment have a greater possibility of being used.

I want to keep it as cost effective as I can.

Nice Ted,

Wonderful explanation. BTW, you look like you lost some weight. Staying away from the "Sweet Spots" are we?

I'm not sure if I'll be able to get back to my high school fighting weight, but I might be svelte the next time we meet. And, I think the mustache is history.

My only golds were in age group and regional races, never on the world level. There's only one record that I still hold:

I wish I hadn't stopped for a bathroom break, in that race. :crybaby:

6:17 per mile??!! Even at 15, you were a god. I'm not sure if it's horizontal or vertical hinge in those shorts that keeps things in line, and I don't think I want to know. Good video.
