Since we'll be holding the Trophy, it won't be a problem. As long as it's big enough. :)

Here's to you finding the love of your life.

When God took a look at my stroke, he was involved with some matters of eternal importance. So, he sent the best help he could find. And, that would be the Green Guy, the Swamp Rat, Yoda himself! And, boy did I need the help.

So you had the Stroke of the Fall . . . an Adamnic Stroke . . . a Stroke mired in sin.

Repent!!! The Kingdom is at hand. Washed in the Koolaid . . . Standing on the Promises . . . healed by the Green physician.

Between Ted and I, what we used to think a hitting motion looked like, probably would be banned in most 3rd world countries now.

The Green guy has definitely excorsied some demons from these swings.

Talk to Bagger about that double post or Bam Bam! First time in forum history I had a double post and MBC has to get on my case! Hit Submit and it didn't commit- hit submit again and whamo! I've got two identical posts and look like an idiot without anyway of changing that fact! Bucket- that one is so teed up - don't bring your value down by trying to swing at it. I'm still figuring out what MBC stands for - might be a new thread I'll need to start! Welcome to the Bucket and Mike O. game Todd- No way out now!:hang:

Jeff, I was just about finished with my letter to Yoda and the Committee - to ban you from the tournament for the USGA rule thinga majig comment - but this post has brought you back in the tournament! I can guarantee if Bucket and I were to partner up in this tournament - (We will but I'm talking about the golf partner part of it- here) - that we will be 32 under par on our gross ball for 18 holes- just a prediction- However, if you would like to control us- then start hiring the 100 people or so to oversee the event.

LBG Homecoming Classic -- New Proposed Dates

As we attempt to nail the ideal dates for our event, we now are leaning toward October (not September). And, including the 1-day Yoda TGM Intro, those dates would be:

October 9-12; or

October 16-19.

October is my favorite golf month down south. The sky is the bluest of blues, and there is virutally zero humidity.

Please comment!

okie 02-08-2008 09:46 PM

October

Good...more time...Bucket was right...Pizza Hut ain't hiring...working on a paper route...for Extra! Extra! of course!

Bucket,
What does it mean when these guys are posting that "it works for them!" Does that mean that they have so much going on - that they have to check their calendar 8 months in advance to see if they can fit it in? Or does it mean what it does for you and me- that the calendar is always wide open- no friends - no appointments - no life! I'd just like to say that Monday - Sunday- any week of the year works for me! Just don't make it the 9th - 12th or the 16th-19th of October- and could you start at 5PM instead of 4PM- my normal nap goes through 4:30PM and I'm cranky when I wake up.:eyes: Also, Lynn when are you knocking at the big surprise on where we are having this shin-dig! By the way- with the weather forecast you're sounding like UPP in Ohio- "everything is beautiful!" - it'll probably be hurricane alley at peak season!

I don't get it either . . . I bet these dudes got all kinds of problems like phones, stinkberries or dingleberries or whatever you call 'em, pencils that are actually sharpened an crap, crayons that aren't half ate, clean underwear, pyschaitrists, razors, deodorant, pass random drug tests, taxes and crap like that.

I got nothing but a TV, aluminum foil for the ears, some glue and magic markers, a cat and a jar of peanunt butter. Keep it simple. Y'all call me when you figure it out . . . . just not before 11:30.

Are you kidding me! A week ago you were at 2500 and now you are at 2600 posts!:confused1 Plus you've increased the daily average to a phenomal 2.35- 2008 is going to be a break out year for you! =D>

I wonder if you can help me- that Damn Daryl is climbing right up my :monky: with his post count 634 with a bullet! Since you invented the internet I thought you could shut his computer down for a week or so.

When we are at this shin-dig- rooming together- do you want to be the yellow guy or the turkey? :turkey: Either one looks like fun, I just wanted to give you first choice.:happy3:

MBCpro 02-09-2008 10:37 AM

Either of those dates would work for me too, if I qualify to come!!!

For those of you who don't know, I am quite sure we are having it at Pinehurst due to the fact that bucket can't cross state lines.:naughty:

How Yoda is smuggling "Mike O My" out of California is still a mystery, but if the two of them are rooming together none of us will ever see them anyway!!!:confused1

See the rest of you on Yoda's magical practice tee, Bucket and Oberthingy, you two make a great couple, but I think we should throw ole Daryl into the roomie thing with you two to make things really interesting!

Todd,
I just talked to the committee members via a top secret conference call- there was a lot of discussion among the board members in regards to your case but in the end it did pass - One of the key issues was the fact that you did pass the 100 post milestone.

Welcome to the Nightmare!

Here's the deal- they are working at a feverish pace behind the scenes- making phone calls, lining up locations, times, etc.- really a huge undertaking. At this time we do not - I repeat do NOT have a time or location identified! Why the delay? We'll it appears that the requests to attend are overwhelming and they've needed to change venues three times to have the proper space and location to pull this thing off appropriately- OK, OK - you're the only one so far but I was just trying to do a little up sell. If no one else shows up - it will be you teaching and talking to YOU.

Seems like everytime I log in now I see something like "75 new posts" and I'm thinking "whoo hoo..... gonna scam some more good TGM info for free and get me on tour!". Course then I open up the "LBG Homecoming" thread, burn through 74 posts mostly dealing with the mutual man-crush that MikeO and Bucket have working and I'm left getting info on why I hit it even shorter than normal when it's cold out! :confused1

But I STILL love it here!! :eyes:

Man do I hope I can make to the "event"!
