I stand corrected:

hjack merely "suggested" the aforementioned punishment.

Personally, I don't think he would have delivered that harsh a sentence as a judge. [But, you never know.] Nevertheless, words are weapons that can be used to inflame or diffuse situations. In my opinion, his words inflamed and mine diffused (or at least attempted a realistic perspective).

Nice try all 'round.

Meanwhile, a thread that started off as fun -- insensitive soul that I am -- no longer is.

Look for me elsewhere.

I was just trying to add perspective. People respond differently to different situations. I wasn't accusing anyone of anything.

No need to yell at me hjack. I am certainly not accusing someone, a person I've never met, of not having values.

altho i do believe your post would be accurate for most people......i will say this......I DON'T BELIEVE IT APPLIES TO LYNN................IF LYNN BELIEVED THAT THE ACT WAS DONE ON PURPOSE....(WHICH HE DOESN'T) EVEN IF HE HAD THE CHANCE HE WOULDN'T TEACH ANYONE WITH THAT MINDSET.........YES LYNN AND I DISAGREE...BUT HE IS AN HONORABLE MAN.....AND WE HAVE A SIMILAR VALUE SYSTEM...................

For newbies in the world of Internet posting, using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS is yelling.

We have a full complement of word emphasis tools here -- bold, italics and underline. Also, combinations thereof. Plus color. Even bold color. With or without sizing! Except in the most extreme circumstances (usually to satisfy a literary intent), please use them.

These techniques will avoid the simplistic -- and irksome -- ALL CAPS approach.
