Well, I guess that having a nuclear superpower as your neighbor from which you gain independance less than a century ago and had some "trouble" with in WWII and cold war tend to get people a little edgy... :)

I think you are on to something there.

What a shame that it's not "in" to learn Swedish in Finland. It would be nice to be able to speak together like one happy famliy here in the North ..

Rather start a friendship than a ruckus.

I take my Single Malt with a glass of ice. I enjoy tasting the various flavor combinations that are formed with the melting ice. You?

BTW, it's Rory, for all the right reasons of winning, finishing more consistently, and playing on a wider stage.

That quote was a little something I once saw on the net. Thought a few folks might have enjoyed the read here.

My sipping preference though is for Whisky (not Whiskey - although I have been privileged to sip some reasonable Hibernian offerings).

I take mine neat for the same reasons that you only add ice to yours - I like the taste and flavours.

Lynn's reference to Islay and their wonderful Lagavulin prompted my intervention into this thread as I have just finished a bottle of that beautiful distillation. Highly recommended, smooth, rich and full of soft peaty after taste.

I will report later on the Blair Athol, single malt from the foothills of the Grampian Mountains, Perthshire, that I started on yesterday.

Rory for me also.
