...maybe we shouldn't feel the need to be defenders of TGM. We all love it, of course, but there is so much more. The genius of Lynn Blake Golf as an example. We would all be a little lost, IMHO, if YODA had not unlocked the secrets of the pivot with the MacDonald Drills and the thoughts of other great teachers like Boomer. TGM and all of Homer's work is WONDERFUL, but there is so much room for more interpretation, and we find it right here.
I vehemently disagree with disrespecting TGM, it is the foundation of all great golf swings, but there is more... Kevin |

Add to that the simplicity of the LBG pivot using the MacDonald drills, watch out!!! Kevin |

In addition, Rick Murphy, YODAs protege, does a wonderful job discussing their simplicity in his Golf Channel video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aR1MakzR69U Kevin |
Thanks
I have of course seen this before, but it got more of my attention this time..:salut:

I send a bit of time in Miami at the Doral. Having spent a lot of time on the range I have overheard Jim and his assistants in their teaching.
Interestingly they pretty much teach one pattern. Its by no means a bad one, its pretty good stuff. Not the variety one would expect from someone who has this particular criticism. |
Jim McLean on Brian Gay.
He wrote this on YouTube.
