Thanks DSS! That's it- I'm going with Charlie Owens on the Long Putter - early 80's! Although, I'm sure they probably had a long putter in 1910 or something- but until someone goes deeper than early 80's I'm sticking with Charlie Owens.

Since we're giving people credit for stuff . . .

Have y'all ever been to Chuckee Cheezeez when they stamp you and your little snot nozed brat that you got in tow with that invisible ink stuff . . . and then when you bail out the make sure you and your urchin have matching stamps???

Our own beloved MIKE O is responsible for that!!!! (indirectly responsible sort of).

Give it up for Mike O y'all!!!! He'll be here all week . . . just lock up your dog if he's walking around with a jar of peanut butter.

OK, not bad - not your A game but you're like "Tigre"- you can even win with your B game. No more excuses- get out on that course!!!

P.S. How's your buddy booger bagger!?

Drewit- you've got this stuff down- you might be "in-operable"- We'll need to move you up to floor 5 with Bucket and the other problem children!

32. I knew Gary Adams- I thought he was a brilliant guy in the golf field- regarding equipment concepts and marketing- Gary always had a new idea. I certainly missed him when he left us early.

33. Sorry Drewit but you got this one wrong. I know for a fact that Bucket was slamming Doughnuts down at a phenomenal rate - way before Pelz showed up on the scene! There is no way that Pelz could ever catch him. P.S. just for kicks- since I haven't read Pelz- what is the "Doughnut Effect"- I'm looking for a serious answer- no silly azz slippery, greasy, cardiac blockage, Bucket post:naughty: That's right - you heard me greasy spoon- go crawl behind your sofa.

Baggers doing kung fu on another thread. I know how annoyed MikeO gets when we talk about the left hand on the plane, so I was really rubbing it in over there. So far no action.
I got a little surprise video of your buddy Bucket coming up. Stay tuned! It's taken a ton of editing, but it's almost ready.

Who said "Karate Chop down the Plane"?________

The Doughnut Effect or Lumpy Doughnut refers to the numerous footprints each group makes arround the cup on the putting surface. The more groups that play each hole, the more footprints are made arround the cup, however, the one foot radius arround the cup remains untouched. The depressions from each player's foot makes a doughnut effect arround the cup. Pelz had his putting machine roll balls at the hole without footprints arround the hole and then with footprints. The results were, you guessed it, less putts made as soon as the first foursome of the day played the hole. So if you miss a putt, it may not be your fault; simply, you may have hit a lump doughnut.
