It took MikeO just a little over 6 months, but he finally got out of the chinese finger cuffs I sent him for reaching 1000 posts. And now he's back. However, his current whereabouts are unknown.

Hey Threadjacker! 3,526 posts of fluff- keep'm coming- by the way - Big Dave in cell block D wants to meet you in the yard tomorrow!

Back to the purpose of this thread- let's move on from the commercial golf mat and to a related question- say I'm going install an indoor putting/chipping green- any reason I couldn't do that myself and save the 10$+ per square foot installation cost. Sand filled for more real life play? Any feedback? Advice? Links to websites, Best companies, Etc. Etc.

What's the issue Mike?

9 months of Winter giving you a little worry?
Can't get the Wedge over a 12 foot Snow Bank?
Don't like Putting on Ice Rinks at night?
Worried about exchanging your Golf Glove for a Golf Mitten?
Ever used an Orange Golf Ball?

Just remember that when someone from Maine says: "Winter Rules" it means that you have to raise your "Mailbox" six feet above ground. :laughing9

Bucket- you can't fool me! Posting on another alias- so simple to figure out- but I'll run with it and play your game - "Daryl, I'm in talks with various companies to install a covered dome over the state of Maine with controlled temperature- they are very interested in the idea and as soon as I come up with the funds they will start construction. So take your PO-Dunk Snow Bank, Ice Rink and Orange Ball post and stick it in your mailbox! Whoa! Whoa! Don't do it Daryl:naughty:

The Golf Mat is what we have used at the Barclay's for the last three years and they're as 'real' of a feel as I've found. Much easier on the wrists than the standard foam mats when hitting down properly.

Why would I want to hit down? :confused1

Thanks Edz - appreciate the feedback.
