Tomasello and the sweet spot plane
 
In Homer's diagram 2-C-1 #1 the sweet spot plane is above the clubshaft plane which is laying on the inclined plane.
After Tomasello performs his 1 to 2 move, are the sweetspot plane and the clubshaft plane now both laying on the inclined plane or does the sweet spot plane remain above the inclined plane?

This is the Tomasello thread and I've been discussing something a bit different. Maybe I should split out the non-Tomasello discussions into another thread. In Chapter 7 of the Tomasello video series there is a takeaway drill that shows how Tom does it.

He simply turns the left wrist and bends the right wrist at startup. He lays the entire clubshaft full length on the plane, then takes the left arm straight up from there. There is more details in the video.

In reference to post #12, after Tommy executes the 1 to 2 move, he uses the cocking of the right elbow to move the left arm. But, once you get past the drill, Tommy uses the Magic of the Right Forearm procedure as described in the last paragraph of 7-3 to execute the backstroke. Or he used a combination of standard hip-action and the cocking of the right elbow on the back stroke.

I would venture that the answer to this question is that,Yes, this move causes the sweetspot and clubshaft to both reside on the inclined plane. Along with flattening the left wrist, bending the right wrist and moving the right elbow in front of and closer to the right hip.
