Go Flames, Go! :hockey:

How can one not appreciate the third frame with such a beautiful Turned Shoulder Plane? But, only a Hitter would appreciate the steepness.

I, too, pulled for the Flames when they were the Atlanta Flames (if we're talking about the same team). Calgary robbed Atlanta of ice hockey, until the Thrashers became the new Atlanta team. I was in attendance when Jim Craig made his professional debut, after winning gold against the Russians. He never made much of an impact as a professional. But, I still remember to this day the chills that ran up my back when he was announced. Everyone in the Omni raised an American Flag and yelled at the top of their lungs. It was the longest standing ovation in the history of Earth.

Sorry for your loss but my association with the Flames is purely Calgarian. My my sister lives there and I get to visit often; occasionally in the Hockey season.

Hey Burner,

Are you or your sister "seasoned" enough to remember the Calgary Cowboys of the WHA? Was it the Strampede that they played?

Ted, talk about being shafted, The Indy Racers got pulled by Skalbania, and he took The Great One w/ him to Edmonton. The rest as they say is history.... It was wild seeing Wayne play his first pro games in Indy when he was 17, the guy was simply amazing from the get go.

I understand what you're saying about TT. I had an AI tell me TT really wasnt using the hitting procedure as prescribed by Homer in his vids.

!975-1977.

Before my time and hers, I'm afraid. She had barely got to Calgary at that time and I did not get over their for a visit until 20 years later.

Showing my lack of worldliness.

Didn't get on a plane till the ripe old age of 54 and didn't swing a golf club till 4 years later.

Making up for lost time now before it all runs out.:golf:

My pediatrician stopped practicing medicine at 100 years old, because of failing eyesight. She recently turned 109. I hope she passed along some wisdom to me.

No, the three that took out restraining orders were big boy doctors. My pediatrician moved to a different county and left no forwarding address.
