How does one learn how to become a PURE swinger???? It might hust be me, but it looks like most TGM inspired teachers do not teach pure swinging strokes or maybe my mine just gets tied up in jargon???

If you slow down Mr. Montgomerie, and observe his conditions just prior, during , and after IMPACT... you will see some good things. His Slide Hip Turn gives him an unusual look, but he does many things very well. He may be close to a True Swinger.

Ernest Jones and his pen-knife and handkerchief will show you.

A piece of rope swung back and through with your eyes closed.

A heavy club can help you maintain that feel, especially with eyes closed.

The trick is keeping that flow that these show you, while keeping your flying wedges and understanding that the low point is below the ground and in front of the ball.

There are a lot of great teachers out there that are very good at showing this 'flow', but don't understand that the low point under the ground, ahead of the ball, requires DOWNPLANE force to both arms straight, flat left wrist, bent right wrist.

If you can obtain that flow, and keep your lag pressure, you will 'hear' your shots very clearly.
