Jim, I think I misread one of your responses. So are you saying that the right wrist may not be level but rather uncocked, is that what you were implying? Is there a good video that shows you how to check the wedges, I have focused on my set up but I guess I really need to make sure.

Also, Took a laser and put it in the but end of my club tonight, on my back swing it goes 3 feet outside of the ball, can somenone explain where that laser should be pointing on back swing, down swing? It was interesting getting that thing poining on the ball line, the instant feedback made it much eaiser to correct, I believe EDZ that you have mentioned you like the laser.

Lasers have their place, but I'm a bigger fan of a broom, held about halfway down. Great for checking impact fix and your flying wedges, and shows you if you are tracing a straight plane line.

when using a plane laser, ok it is really a laser pointer stuck in the but end of my club, I noticed the laser points 2-3 feet outside the ball on the back swing and same place on the down swing. So I started working on getting it more at the ball and accomplished this very well if I first cupped the right wrist and then pushed down with the heel pad of the left hand, your thoughts on whether this is a viable back swing option? Thanks guys

You should not be pushing with the left hand,IMHO,extensor action should be stre...tching the left. The LASER is on- plane,- pointing at the plane line.:)Do you mean cup the right wrist or bend it?-Whatever your description, you need to have as much right wrist bend as you need to keep the LEFT WRIST FLAT-Ideally ...but there are variations.

I did not know there was a difference between cupping the right wrist and bending it. I thought the right wrist could only cup or cock. My left wrist is flat at the top and I do get a lot of right cup/bend. Doing the back swing this way has made a HUGE difference i my half shots, I am hitting it pure with a lot of compression.

Your right wrist "cup" could be my "bend"-no problem.DON'T mention right wrist cock though!:eyes: .The flat left /bent right wrists are your flying wedges, look after them:)
