rotation of the club
Guys and gals, I confused by terminology to describe the how one physical rotates the club.
I have read pivot, swivel, turn , roll. Obviously they can't mean the same thing. Is it possible to define these terms specific to body zone 1 2 3 ?
What are the differences?

What are the differences?

Zone 1: The Pivot: Turns and Rolls

Zone 3: Swivel: Rotating the Clubface from Vertical to On-Plane (by rotating the Flat Left Wrist [rotate the wedges])

Zone 1 or 2: Turn: Caused by the Pivot opening the Clubface to the Plane Line. Pivot Strokes = Zone 1, Non-Pivot Strokes = Zone 2.

Zone 1 or 2: Roll: Caused by the Pivot closing the Clubface to the Plane Line. Pivot Strokes = Zone 1, Non-Pivot Strokes = Zone 2.

Daryl, how can zone 3 (hands) really rotate independently? Isn't it zone 2(arms)?Unless I'm missing something I consider the rolling of the hands and wrist a function of the arms whereas bending and cocking is a function of the hands.
Guess this is how one consider wrist function a product of arms or hands.

That's true. I could be wrong. I struggle with that too. It sometimes seems nothing more than a Pitched Elbow on the Backswing. A not so simple Rotation of the Flying Wedges.

With a perfect 10-2-B Grip, Extensor Action Right Forearm Takeaway, Flat Left Wrist, Bent Right Wrist, Primary Lever Left Arm Wedge, etc., it takes my maximum Rotation to Swivel that Clubface (Sweetspot Plane) onto the Swing Plane.

Most Golfers will use a Slightly Bent Left Wrist during the Backstroke and at the Top and Downswing to mimic the Swivel by bypassing the Flying Wedge Rotation.

There is, however, the “Release Roll” (Swivel) which is a true rotation of the Hands into Impact alignments by Accumulator #3 with (10-18-A only).
So, if the Hands are Rotated by Acum. #3, is that a Flying Wedge Rotation or Hand Manipulation?

I think Daryl and OB scared them all away! The way they yell at each other about bats, ropes and shot puts frightens the ladies. This, I'm afraid, is an all boy tree house. Anyway, Canadians are close to "metro-sexual" status and we know what that means.

I mean, look, when was the last time a Canadian hockey team won a Stanley Cup? (Daryl made me say that! He waved his boat drink umbrella at me. It was pink and I was, well, intimidated by the sharp point. He threatened me with taking away my decoder ring ).

Anyway, you can say "guys" with no fear of the PC police.

There are lots of women golf teachers and players out there. Minnesota's PGA Teacher of the Year in 2009 was Dee Forsberg, an excellent teacher who is passionate about her profession.
It would be edifying to get some more perspectives on this stuff and even better if some women would jump in at LBG Forums.

Some of my best friends.... Hey, what if we become more in touch with our feminine side, like Daryl and OB? We could all pick avatars with feminine pictures and change our names to more feminine sounding id's like Ophelia or Daffney. It can't hurt.

I used to have a table-hockey game with Montreal Canadians and the Blackhawks. I guess the Blackhawks will be appearing on table hockey games again, eh Daryl?
